I had a website for years when I was in private law practice, focusing on my professional work and recent developments. When I retired, I had the website removed and I regret that I did not keep a copy. Since I still own the domain name, I have considered using it for more than just emails, but only recently (2024) have I learned how to use WordPress to build a website.

The domain name, tomoser.com, was a compromise 30 or more years ago when I decided to have a web designer create my website and use the domain in my email address. What I initially wanted was TomMoser.com with the double m as my name spelled, but that domain was already in use by a car dealership located in the mid-west. In other words, another man named Tom Moser owned a car dealership and bought the domain for his business website. After my initial disappointment, I thought about trying www.ctmoser.com as an option, since my full name is Carl Thomas Moser. Eventually, I settled for the domain tomoser.com. At some point, it came to my attention that the Tom Moser car dealership status had changed and the domain TomMoser.com had become available. I now own that domain and have it pointed at this website, so if someone types in tommoser.com, it will connect here.

As mentioned above, this homemade website is constructed using WordPress as a foundation platform. I’m sure you will see amateur mistakes, typos, and failed links. I have no doubt my many friends will not be bashful about pointing them out so I can make corrections. Thank you for stopping by and looking around.
