Our Skagit Valley Book Club selection was Peace Like a River by Leif Enger. This is a decidedly Christian-influenced novel about a midwestern family in the 1960s who experience miracles and heartbreak. It is a story about faith, the uncertainty of life, and the cost of justice. The book follows an unpredictable plotline with characters who touch your soul. If you are not a Christian, I would encourage you to challenge yourself wth this book.
