At the end of my 45-year legal practice, I feel satisfied with what I accomplished and the course of my career. I don’t think every lawyer feels that way about their career path. I enjoyed a combination of public and private law practice. I started out of law school just wanting to “make a difference” in the world and become the best I could be with the tools and talent I had at the time.
