Camino Ghosts is the third in the Camino Island Series by John Grisham, based on a fictional island off the North Coast of Florida. I recommend reading them in order of publication. The plot revolves around a bookstore on the island owned by Bruce Cable and his circle of friends and customers. We learn about the mystery of Dark Isle, once owned by freed slaves.
